Original Framus metal logo, pure brass, as used on countless Framus models of the sixties to seventies. These logos are very delicate, individual fragments tend to break off, one of the most sought-after spare parts for old Framus guitars and practically impossible to get individually and intact. Other suppliers only offer reprinted, non-original foil logos.
Very good original condition. Not treated. Can be applied in this condition, so you have the original vintage look. It can still be carefully polished, cleaned with abrasive milk or fine steel wool, or treated with a mixture of liquid soap and baking soda to restore the full, like-new shine.
Important: The installation is tricky. You must use only tiny drops of lacquer as adhesive and press the logo on neatly. Once it is firm, it must be carefully lacquered in several clear layers. Under no circumstances should it be fixed with superglue or similar, as this adhesive cannot be applied in small enough doses and immediately destroys the surrounding finish.
